Part number of your original unit must be completely identical to the replacement unit you are looking at. Engine Computers newer than 1998 with immobilizer systems will need to be reprogrammed by a professional to your vehicle to function on your vehicle. Without programming, most ECU’s will NOT FUNCTION. Programming can be done by a local automotive locksmith, search online for one near you!
